| We had the fortunate distinction to have courted a famous bass player and manager at the time. The stars were aligned I guess. The Dregs had just broken up, so we were Andy's "rebound" relationship. Andy had already done an album with Eddy, and Tony knew him as well. So we got Eddy, who had a studio in Atlanta (see picture below), to come out and "audition" us. I guess we passed. Eddy had some arrangement ideas, and it was my job to implement them. Then we went to HOTlanta and did our thing. Eddy and I worked so well together that we ended up doing another project together. Fun times! |
